Engineer Gets Revenge with EDM Remix by Kelleigh Welch Ever wonder what would happen if you didn't pay your engineer? Well, hardcore metal band Altitudes is currently finding out; when the group failed to pay engineer Dan Atkinson of Dan's Labs Studios in Long Beach, CA, for recent recording and video work, the engineer responded creatively. Posted to YouTube on October 21, 2013, "Hardcore EDM Dance Band!" takes the vocals from the original recording session, and drops them into a synthetic EDM club track, creating a hilarious combination of the two genres. The result is an instant viral hit—as of two days later, the clip already has 623,194 hits. More »
