Why This Matters: The Cloisters in NYC is a special place– I've escaped there often. It's way up at the northern tip of Manhattan so most of us have to make a special trip to find it. This first presentation of contemporary art ever at the Cloisters is a refreshing audio-based installation in a world where video/flat panels are usually the called in for this sort of thing.
