BSkyB Claims First 4K TV Satellite Broadcast
U.K. pay television provider BSkyB successfully demonstrated what it claims was the world's first satellite broadcast done in 4K resolution. The event took place Aug. 31 and featured coverage of a soccer game between two British teams, Stoke City and West Ham.

NAB is Moving After 66 Years
The FCC, which was once in the NAB's neighborhood, is now at the Portals near the Riverfront area. NAB President and CEO Gordon Smith also mentioned that when he was Sen. Smith, there were times he did not make the trip to NAB headquarters because it was too hard to get there and back in time for a vote.
