FCC Opens Window for Pending FM Translator Applications The agency has opened a filing window for certain FM translator applications pending from Auction 83. It is for approximately 1,200 "Tech Box" proposals that don't compete with any other tech box proposals that remain pending from 2003. The window is open until Aug. 30.
House Commerce Passes FCC Consolidated Reporting Act The House Energy and Commerce Committee today approved one bill to reform the FCC. The measure would consolidate what are now eight separate Congressional reports the commission must prepare annually into one.
